A great treat on a warm summer day!
- Pie crust Top and botton
- 6-8 Tart apples peeled and sliced (I prefer Johnathan or Johnagold)
- 1 C. cranberries (they are in season in the fall but you can get frozen)
- ¾ C. Sugar
- ¼ C. flour
- pinch of salt
- 3 Tbs butter
Place sliced apples and cranberries in pie plate, mix flour sugar salt and pour mixture over apples then place bits of butter on areas around top. Place the lid on and bake at 375 for 50-60 min. Fab with a little Vanilla ice cream.
