Great way to start your morning!
- 1 C steel cut Oatmeal
- 4 C water
- handful of raisins (they naturally sweeten it as they plump up)
- tsp cinnamon
- tsp vanilla
- ½ tsp maple extract
Ok I know this steel cut oatmeal is a pain but I make a weeks worth of it at a time so it’s well worth it! Plus, like my nana says “it sticks to your ribs!” Healthy carb!
I double the recipe, put it in the fridge and microwave servings in the am.
Boil water add other ingredients and let simmer for approx 45 min.
Let cool and store in fridge.
